Yesterday was my birthday – I am getting older! But the good news is that I am very happy with my life and I have no desire to be 20 years old again.
It was a special day, because I received this cake from my dear friend Sanda.
Do you remember this quilt ? Sanda was part of it; I would have loved to share it with all my quilting friends that were part of the quilt.
Isn’t the similarity of the colors amazing ?

Best friend ever! I loved the cake when I saw it, but absolutely adore it once you made the connection with the quilt. Happy birthday! The 40's are good and as I approach 50, I'm thinking they are going to be even better.
