Quilt Labels

May 28, 2014 11 Comments

I printed my own quilt labels on fabric. At Spoonflower.

They measure 4” x 4” and 90 pieces fitted onto one yard of Kona cotton.
Now I would have loved a less striking design(!) but if I think better, “color” is the word that perfectly describes what I do and who I am.

I had a great experience with this print service.
They even thanked me in Romanian! How cool is that ?

More about what else I printed at Spoonflower soon!

What a tremendous idea! I have heard of Spoon Flower but I would never have connected the dots and thought of printing labels. Great, great idea.

Wow – cool idea – and really nice result. Will have a look at the page, thinks for the hint.

If I start making more quilts, I have to look into Spoonflower. Thanks for the link. I just used my at home printer to make a label for my latest quilt. The result was so-so and I may have to change it eventually but I needed it for a quilt show entry.
