Wintery scenes

Here are a few pictures I took two weeks ago. This wonderful place, one hour away from where I live, is Fundata. It’s considered one of the highest (if not the highest) settlements in Romania. Altitude varies between 1300-1400 meters (4200 -4600 feet).

Ten days ago the temperature lowered until -28 degree Celsius( -18.4 degree Fahrenheit) in the night.
I took this picture in the middle of a sunny day and the temperature was only (-11 degree Celsius = 12.2 degree Fahrenheit). I hope this conversion is correct.

The place is practically surrounded by mountains ( Bucegi and Piatra Craiului ).
I think it is one of the most beautiful and quiet place in my country.

It is as beautiful in the winter as it is in the summer.
I hope I will go there this summer. It would be so nice to stay on grass and cut away batting for some quilts…

If someday I would have guests from abroad, we would definitely visit this place.
Enjoy the pictures !
