I didn’t sew anything in the last weeks. We made some renovations in our home, painted the walls and other hard things like these. My husband had a few days off, but we both worked at home.
Now I am back to my quilts. I cannot sew because my sewing machine needed a few small repairs and only at the end of the week I will have it back home.
But I have a lot of work to do on my computer.
Anyway, I have a long list of projects to do and this list includes a few surprises for you.
In the last weeks I have received a few pictures from quilters who made shadow trapunto quilts using my technique, so that I set up a Flickr group pool where you all can see them.
If you make a shadow trapunto quilt using my technique, would you like to upload your photos there ? I am sure a lot of friends will be glad to see them.

These are a few baby quilts (and small wall hangings) I made a few years ago.
I learnt how to cut and sew this easy pattern from Eleanor Burns. It was made only from strips and squares, I didn’t cut any triangle.
The same pattern- just two colors
For this one with stars I used a very thick batting – it was so hard to quilt it !
And this was made from kaleidoscope blocks.

It's so hard when the sewing machine is in the shop being repaired! I was once without mine for 3 weeks, and thought I would lose my mind!

Draga Geta, urmaresc mereu "linia" ta creativa si te admir( asta stii de mult). Ceea ce postezi aici este incantator din punct de vedere estetic dar si foarte util. Ti-am deschid si "Quilt Studioul"(caruia i-ai dat o noua fata dar si un continut mai bogat) si am citit din nou despre tehnici dar mai ales free quilting care este preocuparea mea acum.M-ai scos din nou din impas, merci!!! Am constatat ca este o enciclopedie pe care o poate utiliza toata lumea care doreste sa faca quilting. Nu ma mir ca tehnica ta de shadow trapunto a dat roade.Felicitari!
