WIP

In December I started 5 quilts! I was so excited with my new designs –  simple and sweet and easy to make- that I just had to start them all.
Most of them are small and I thought I will quilt them all after the New Year. And guess what? I seriously injured my right hand and I don’t have too many hopes that I can quilt at least one by Tuesday! I am in a blog hop and Tuesday is my day!

We will see! It was so funny when one of my friends told my that I should have insured my hands!!

This will be one of the quilts. I am more than in love –  and I designed 5 versions!!
I have even a name for it -Fresh Lemonade!

More on Tuesday! Hopefully, a finished quilt. If not, a top or two!!

  1. I hope your hand will be OK!
I don't know if the name Fresh Limonade, or the lemon slices made me thirsty :). It looks so fresh! Good luck for Tuesday!

  2. Truly beautiful! So clever and I love the name. Your friend is right: insure your hands. Concert musicians do, why not gifted artists like you? Can't wait to see what you do with the Kona solids.

  3. Geta, I must tell you how I love your work! I only found your site this past year, and signed up immediately. When I received the year-end email, I realized I'd missed things early last year, so had to go back & discover them!! I've bought at least one of your patterns, and when I found your book on shadow trapunto, I HAD to buy it! Thank you for the beauty you add to the world!! Have a super year (after your hand heals!!!) 🙂

  4. I do hope your hand is getting better! Your Fresh Lemonade is so pretty in those solid colors! This is a perfect challenge for you!
Please take it slow so that you heal properly! A top alone, when it is yours, is still gorgeous !
