My First Ribbon

Do you remember this quilt ?
I was so happy when it was accepted in the Judged Show of the International Quilt Association, “A World of Beauty”, that takes place in Houston.
And it won a ribbon – an Honorable Mention in the Innovative Applique category.

A small award, but a HUGE encouragement!

We all make quilts because they make us happy, but it’s great to know that all the time and hard work you’ve put into your piece has been rewarded.
My hubby is proud of me!

You can see all the winners here.
Details about how I made my quilt – here.
