A New Shadow Trapunto Quilt- a table runner

November 26, 2008 6 Comments

After miniatures or large quilts (for shadow trapunto a 52 x 52 inch piece is large enough !) I made a table runner !
It was a pleasure to work on this scale !

15.5 x 33 inch (39 x 83 cm)

The flowers are big enough to see and feel the trapunto effect ! I love this effect!

Imi place mult !

The fabric under trapunto is so beautiful so I decided to quilt the background with simple stippling and invisible thread to not alter its beauty !

I am in love with this piece !
Imi place mult cum a iesit !

This is so pretty. I love it. I don’t understand you the design is always in white, I guess I just don’t understand your style of trapunto. I love it though!!!

Stunning..as always. Makes my poor little runners look so pathetic! Is this a gift or will you keep it?
