Happy New Year! I hope you all had a lovely holiday season.
Now, are you ready for new quilting/sewing adventures?
I am thinking of Valentine’s Day and I started a few new projects.
Today I made two “Pockets with Love”, in heart shape. (this was my first pattern, launched 6 years ago!).

These fabrics (Ann Kelle for Robert Kaufman) are just perfect for these pretty little things.

I don’t have too many buttons, but it just happened to have the PERFECT ones for my two pockets! The same for ribbons!

This is the fastest version of these origami patterns. It uses fusible web to bond the fabrics and a pinking blade.

I spent more time hand sewing the strap and buttons than sewing the actual pocket!

I think I MUST use these fabrics to sew pockets in the other two shapes too (diamond and kite).

Here are all the three shapes, in Christmas fabrics.

And look how small you could sew them!
Have a great weekend,
