Quick gifts to sew

November 13, 2014 7 Comments

I am stitching quick gifts for the next blog hop I am in.
Today – 20 minute pouches! Are these fast enough to sew?
I am using the lace zippers and faux suede. This is the reason they are so fast to sew –  no need for interfacing.  This faux suede is such a great fabric to sew with.

Quick gifts to sew

I already stitched 11! I think the lace tape looks so beautiful on the solid color. But I reserved the other nine zippers for some special quilt fabric that I would like to quilt.

I think this year I will have lots and lots of gifts to give!!

Edited to add
I bought the lace zippers from this shop, but I heard that in USA you could find them at Joann and Hancock.  Search on ebay too.

Geta where did you find these lovely zippers? Is there a place online? I've seen them popping up in projects but have not been able to find any yet. Your pouches look fantastic with them.

I echo Anita – where did you find these zippers. I make wallet that people like and would love to use lacy zippers for extra bling!
Faux suede would also enhance the wallets.
As always, I love your work!

These are just so gorgeous! Looks like your time is very well-spent making these. They look like they take a lot more time, and they are each charming!
