Painted Binding
I thought that a plain white binding is not enough for my new quilt. So I “painted” it – with the thick Aurifil 12wt thread.
So much fun!
It took me some time and thread…
…and here is- enough for a 80” square quilt.
Now to see how the quilt turned out!

Oh my goodness Geta. Did you sew on one color first and then go back to add the next color and so on? I wouldn't have the patience to change thread each time. What a unique idea. Thank you for sharing so much of yourself!
