Does this happen to you too ? Sometimes Blogger changes a little the colors of some of my photos, after I upload them into a blog post. At least, it is what I see on my monitor.
These colors are really beautiful: indigo blue and taupe. Perfect combination for my sister Oana: she loves blue and sober colors.
I made a lot of bags for my sisters but they carry them all the time and I think they new some new ones. They don’t agree, but I know better! Or maybe I need an excuse to stitch new bags (or maybe to buy new fabrics!).
So I was happy when a friend of mine brought me some blue faux leather.
Oana said it is the most beautiful bag! I agree, it is the latest!
The back with a zippered pocket.
I used interfacing only for the bottom. I think it was Peltex or Timtex, I stitched it over the faux leather.
I know many people like zipper closure, but I like most a magnetic snap closure. You don’t need two hands to open the bag!
I love to make faux leather patchwork! I swear it is easier than with quilting cotton.
It’s so easy to sew these two-color straps.

This bag is beautiful! I love the colors, too! And your stitching is so perfect! Love it!
Geta te quedó precioso y muy bien hecho el bolso con este material!!! un beso
I like the colors, I'm in the blue mood too. The patchwork is perfect, I can't imagine it's easier to sew faux leather than quilted fabrics!
I wait your tuto!
Wow! It really is fabulous. I wouldn't have the nerve to try to make something like that.
Hi Geta, thank you very much for your visit and your comment. It was very nice. I follow your blog, your work is amazing and I admire it. But my English is not amazing, so I don´t
write comments.
Simply gorgeous! I love the stitching (quilting) on it!
Love the colors of your faux leather and wish I had local access to more colors. Looking forward to your tutorial as the bag straps I made of the faux leather stretched quite a bit and broke the stitching threads.
Absolutely beautiful! So "Geta Gorgeous" in color, style and perfect quilting! I look forward to your tutorial…. I just may try sewing with faux leather soon with your inspirations!

Awesome bag! I have a leather/vinyl purse that I use once in awhile and it has a magnetic closure too. Mine however has a small 'strap' to allow for the top when closed to expand just a bit in case I have alot of stuff inside. (I use this quite often when going to an expo or out shopping) It isn't called a strap but right now I can't think of an actual name for this. It's only about 3-4 inches long with a point at one end where the other end is stitched into the top of the bag. Near the tip is one part of the magnetic snap. I really like that. Inside the bag is a small pocket with a zipper and on the outside front (which could easily be on the back) of the bag is a pocket from one side to the other and inside that pocket is another pocket which zips closed too so I can use that for things I don't want to drop out accidentally. I really love mine and don't miss the top zipper.
Excellent design. I like you share this leather bag. I am very impressed with this bag. Great blog!
