The best medicine

June 17, 2013 12 Comments

The fabric is Fossil  Fern by  Patricia Campbell for Benartex. Pat designed this fabric line 15 years ago!

I was sad when I learned about Pat’s passing, a few months ago.

Have a great sewing week,
Geta

I love fossil ferns but I had not seen it sold in a very long time – of course I have no local quilt shops but I have not seen it in the on line stores that I frequent – where do you get yours? is there an on line source that has a lot of colors available?

Geta, your hexi work is just amazing! I've been working on my hexi project forever. The fossil fern fabric is beautiful!

So nice this Fossil Fern Fabrics, and there are fitting so well with the hexy flowers, looks like dew drops on daisies. Something to remember allways of Pat.

I also have 2 sets of 100 charm packs of the fossil fern including a few yardages. Since I am in the middle of a large hexagon project using batiks, the fossil ferns will have to wait. By the way, your quilts always look gorgeous, so inspiring!

Oh!! You give me so many wonderful ideas. I have this box of Fossil Fern fat quarters that I bring out from time to time. Now I can make hexies like you. Only I make them all by machine. Yours are so beautiful and perfect and I love seeing them interlock with each other. Just so awesome!
