Zippered Pouch

May 27, 2013 22 Comments

Today I made a zippered pouch.

It looks like an ordinary pouch, but it is not.

Because there is a zippered pocket inside.

And it is more than a zippered pocket.

It is a pocket divider.

It is stitched into the bottom and side seams, dividing the lining space into 3 compartments.

I want to put pocket dividers in my next bags, so I thought to try my hand first on a smaller item. There were 2 days of trials and errors and when I was about to give up, I thought to make a last try. And I am happy with it!

My sisters saw the “trials and errors” and they were excited. Can’t wait to show them this one!

Have a great week,
Geta

You are very cleaver, Geta. And your zippers look like they are sewing in perfectly. As one who can't sew a zipper to save her life, I admire anyone who can sew zippers.
