New hexagon project

I started a new hexy quilt.
I rarely watch TV but now I can’t do it without stitching hexies.

Nina is my only sister who still could find some time for sewing, so last evening I called her asking if she is ready for work. The answer was “YES” .
We will make the “Hexy Cubes”.

I am bored of  3/4” hexagons, 1/2” seams too small so I printed the 1” templates at 60%. It is easy to baste the fabric to paper at this size, they don’t require too much fabric and can be quickly stitched together.

I need 360 hexagons, I made 18!

Happy Sewing,
Geta

  1. These are beautiful! If you ever need an extra stitcher, let me know. I love to stitch the hexis to templates, and even together, but I never have any ambition to incorporate them into anything beyond that. I'll leave that to you! 🙂
