Enjoying my quilting friends
I usually have the pleasure to see my quilting friends once in a few years. And we enjoy sharing our love for quilting for a few hours, maybe one day.
But this time was different!
I invited my quilting friends to my house over the weekend. Only 4 of them could come and we spent together 48 hours.
Mihaela made a tote for each of us – a souvenir of our meeting!

The girls brought a few of their projects- we all agree that pictures can’t show the beauty of a piece.
This is Ortansa’s hexagon quilt.
Silvia made 2 projects from my book (Ortansa also worked from my book, I don’t have good pictures, you can see on her blog).
We ate, chatted, laughed, drank ginger tea and worked…
We made this bag…
and a few little frame purses…
That is a tomato!
After all the work was done, on a beautiful Sunday morning, we visited the Rasnov Citadel.
And we took some photos of the 4 bags and 4 little frame purses (one is missig in the photo) we made.
One for each of my students.
We all learned a lot from each other …
We enjoyed the beautiful weather and the landscape…
I am grateful for these funny, kind, smart, hard-working friends!
