Hexy Flowers Report II
My sisters sent me the flowers they finished…
for taking a picture to keep us motivated …
I am kidding, we are motivated anyway, but it is nice to see a preview of the future quilt!
I laid the flowers onto a black fabric, but I will use a chocolate brown fabric, I have to buy it.
What do you think ? I don’t have too much of those fabrics so I will have to add other and other fabrics… It seams a little too “scrappy” for my taste, but I know my mother will love it!
These pictures keep me warm, it is snowing here like in December.I hope you are enjoying a better weather in your part of the world.
Geta, your flower garden pieces are beautiful. I have one started that I work on every once in a while. After seeing yours, I think that I'll finish mine sooner.

These colors are wonderful, I was so excited and I get a job of this.
Here in Brazil, the city where I live, the sun is very hot with temperatures of 27 degrees with rain ends. It is the country of the sun.

The flowers are lovely and I do like the dark fabric between them. It just makes them shine.
We have been getting heavy rain yesterday and today here but in central and western Nebraska they are getting snow. We really needed the rain here as we were so dry and I hope the snow stays away, after all it is supposed to be spring.
Such beautiful flowers. I must find mine to finish it. Started in 1961! What a shame to not finish. This is inspiring.
