Piecing spandex
I don’t like to work with scraps – I don’t have enough patience and time. I also don’t have space for them and usually I give them to my friends. I like a big piece of fabric I can fold in eight and cut many pieces at once.
But sometimes I make exceptions, it was the case with a few small swatches of spandex. I couldn’ resist to their colors so I spent some time cutting them.
It wasn’t hard at all to piece these squares.
I will quilt these pieces then I will make a nice tote and a pouch.
In this respect we are complete opposites. I love nothing better than piecing little scraps together.
It's a very great idea to stitch little pieces of left over cloth and create something useful.
I'm not usually a big fan of oranges & tans, but I really like the way you've put those together. Very pretty!
