I am at the quilting stage now.
I read on Patricia’s blog that she uses a sheet of glass over the quilt top to test different quilting designs. I think it is a brilliant idea.
I don’t have glass so I used a piece of transparent plastic (the one used for laminating paper); you need water soluble pen then test, test, test…
I can’t say that I have too much patience when it comes to testing!

That was smart to use the plastic, to test the quilting design layout. What pretty colors you have chosen… they make me feel like spring is around the corner!

Your colours are gorgeous. I can not wait to see the completed project. Don't keep us in suspense too long!
I use a old frame with glass so it is easier to handle. I use dry erase markers so I can wipe out to try different pattern.
I'm 16 months late finding your blog and this post. Love your story; how you began quilting and I am amazed that quilting was basically unknown in your country. Your quilts are gorgeous. I especially love the colours in this one. (Alberta, Canada).
