Wake up to Kona blog hop

I was so excited when I learned about a blog hop where you are asked to sew with Kona cotton. I immediately signed up and patiently waited for this day to come.

Thank you Madame Samm and Carol for this new challenge. Here is the quilt I made for this occasion -“Fresh Lemonade”!

35” x 35”

The lemon slices are raw edge appliqued with fusible web.

I am madly in love with this design- here is the top before quilting.

I did not have time to think too much about how to quilt it, this was the first idea!

Now, which one of these to sew next ? Come back in the next weeks to find out.

Hexagons are still on my mind and after many projects with lots of hexagons and months of work, why not  a small project ? I don’t like making bias binding but this charming little piece was worth the effort.

These are the quilts I made in the last two years.I love Kona cotton – it makes so easy to highlight a pattern and show off the quilting.

Can’t wait to see all the creations made for this blog hop!

Thank you for your visit,
