Christmas Inspiration

Yesterday I found these pictures in an archive from 2008.
I made this “Star of David” only with equilateral triangles.

 

At the time I did not know anything about hexagons.  I hope to make an easier version this month, I am in the “HO HO HO” blog hop.

For the next two I think I cut diamonds from a strip set then I cut them in half; this makes 2 quilts at once.

 

I remember how much I loved these fabrics below! Very easy stars made with a “Quilt in Day” ruler set.

I love “Hunter star” pattern, I don’t know why I don’t use more often.

  1. The Star of David is awesome! I can see the Twisted Hexagon in the center. It is a block that is on my to-do list (the Star). Wonderful to see that what we think is new is really timeless and traditional.
