Tote bag for the beaches of Florida

May 30, 2013 6 Comments

No, none of us is going to Florida! I made this  for a dear friend of mine who lives in Florida, near the beach. As I live at the foot of the mountain and I see the sea and the beach once in a few years – this meaning VACATION –  I can say I envy her; a little; maybe a little more!

I still have beautiful fabrics and I still enjoy Danielle pattern! This is the largest version of the bag.

The floral fabric is Good Fortune by Kate Spain and the green stripe is Mixmasters by Robert Kaufman

The fabric was quilted on Peltex interfacing.

And I just had to make 2 small matching frame purses too!

I can’t believe it’s almost weekend! I made a new bag for Nico! I have to make a fabric flower now!

pattern-available

Happy sewing!

An other wonderful bag and so lovely little purses that reminded me of our meeting some time ago…I hope Florida is prepared for such an adorable tote bag. Good fortune!
