It seems the latest bag is always the most beautiful! And no, it is not mine, I made it for my sister Oana – you know, the one who pointed me to quilting! She deserves it!
I am in love with this print – “Fly a Kite” by October Afternoon for Riley Blake Designs. Two days I searched on Internet to buy more and finally I found 2 yards in a shop. So if you want some too, I tell you it is hard to find!
I love the round shape at the bottom.
This fabric is screaming to be quilted. So I backed it with a lightweight interfacing and thermolam and I quilted it.
Zippered pocket…
one more…
I would love this motif printed at a larger scale. It could be a wonderful wholecloth quilt. And a very quick quilt.
Happy Weekend,
Gorgeous. What pattern are you using?
I love it! I want to know too…what pattern are you using? I love the Fly A Kite fabric…so cute!
I hope one day to have the skills to sew up such beautiful gifts for my sister. I bet she will receive many compliments.
