Some of you asked me where I found the denim I used for my latest bags. Well, we didn’t have here quality cotton fabrics for quilting but there is in my town a shop with gorgeous fabrics for clothing.
Last week I found these pieces of denim (it is not the same quality as the denim used for jeans but it is still a good fabric for making bags):
The fabric below is not denim but I could not resist to these color combinations so I bought them:
And I bought this heavy cotton from Ikea. So far I have never used this type of fabric, I hope the bags will turn out nicely.
If you are looking for fabrics for bags, take a look in the stores that have fabrics for interior decorating. You might have a nice surprise !

Pretty fabrics. Decorator fabric does work well for bags, though I haven’t quilted it. Will try that next!
