A mistake that led to a second pattern
I wanted to try a busy print with this design, but I wasn't thrilled with how the blocks looked.
But I wanted to be able to highlight fabric motifs in my designs, so I had to come up with another solution...

The second patterns was born!
It involves fussy cutting motifs from your favorite fabrics.

A fantastic way to transform fabric squares into a wonderfully textured piece.

This is the block, with the fussy cut square folded into a 4-patch piece - a lovely textured block.

You will sew these blocks in no time...

But you can do even more to improve the design: you can insert additional floral squares between the above blocks and here is the result:

Easy quilting
The floral squares remain unquilted and you have to quilt only the background.

The way you quilt matters
The quilting should enhance the 3D look of the design - complete instructions for the best and easiest quilting are included.

Great for winter decoration

Wonderful gifts for little girls

Each pattern includes a VIDEO tutorial of the technique.
I've been passionate about patchwork for over 16 years, but never thought I'd get to test such twisted blocks. Never say never! I thought it was complicated to get those perfect rhombuses, but I also know how meticulous Geta is in writing her patterns, so I let myself be guided by her instructions. But when I saw the videos, I had the feeling that Geta was next to me and we were working together. With the instructions in mind and watching her video, after a few maneuvers on the back of the patch, once turned to the front, the folds settle almost by themselves. It's very easy. And repeating the same steps makes the process faster. I was very proud when in a few hours I managed not only to test the blocks but also turn them into a pouch.
