… here is the pretty table runner.

If you are a beginner quilter and free motion quilting scares you, starting with table runners it’s a great way to avoid overwhelm and frustration and enjoy quilting!

I think the 8-petal flower is my favorite.

The 6-petal flower looks great too…

and the 4-petal flower is the quickest version.

A few flowers can be joined this way:

You can finish the flowers into individual blocks and make some pretty table mats.

Cut the block into shapes that match the design of the flower:

• 4-petal flower- square block
• 5-petal flower- pentagon block
• 6-petal flower- hexagon block
• 8-petal flower- octagon block
