I wrote the pattern for this quilt. But it doesn’t have a name. I always have difficulties in naming my quilts.
Does this design inspire you a name ? If you could suggest me a name and if I will use it, I will gladly send you the pattern.
Also, would you like to help me and test this pattern? I need 2 testers. There is not much work to do. Just to piece two blocks. But I need your feed back in a few days.
If you could help me, please send me an email. My address is in the right
sidebar.
sidebar.
Thank you!
Geta

Testers found! Thank you all for your kindness and wonderful names!
Stepping Stones
Pathways
Crossed Paths
Chiclets (which is the name of a square, brightly colored chewing gum in the states)
First thing that popped into my head was "Around the Block" because it reminds me of town blocks in a way. It's really a neat quilt. Well done!
What pops in my mind is citystreets.

They look like windows in a high rise building to me. or maybe the tops of high rise buildings. Maybe something with city in the name. Like city blocks or city view or city streets.
Here are a few ideas that might spark something more creative:
Town Square
Down the Block
Uptown Downtown
In The Neighborhood
Squares in squares
the first name that came to mind was "crossroads". It'a a lovely quilt!
How about
Crossroad Square
Happy Windows.
No idea on a name but would be more than happy to test the pattern for you.
happy city windows
Urban delight. I love this pattern. It will be very popular.
My name for your quilt is "fenêtres" in French.
I think it's very appropriate.

1) Cross Walk Craziness
2) Over, Under, Around and Through the Block
3) In and Out Around the Block
Good luck naming your quilt!
Something city came to mind for me too – City Windows, Skyscraper, Modern Grille. It's a really wonderful design!
Windows of the metropolis.
First thing that came to my mind was "Corner Squares"
Lots of other good names already posted too, can't wait to see what you decide. 🙂
'Crosshairs' would be a perfect name.
best wishes, Maru
Check out the Windows…came to me
oh I wish I had been quicker I would have loved to do this for you Geta. Maybe next time.
Or even.. Windows Checked?
they look like presents or gift boxes…..that's it…gift boxes….
To me the squares look like cubicles or small rooms viewed from above, and the narrow sashing seems to close or hold down the squares. I would call the pattern Cells.
Toni
"Hands Across the Water" or "Hands Across the Sea". Now I can't get that Paul McCartney song out of my head (Uncle Albert/admiral Halsey).
or … Hands Across the Square.
Another great pattern Geta – the suggestions for names above are great. I am having a blank moment and can not think of anything better. Happy end of summer!
windows through time is my suggested name. reminds me of looking through a window only to see more windows.
quilt a " meeting point "
Hopscotch!
Sorry I'm too late to test for you. Busy, busy week. But I love the quilt.
Not sure if your still looking for names, but when I looked at it I immediately thought of
"Connect Four"
really self explanatory.
Good Luck on naming it…it's a cute pattern. I'll be looking for it.
I know you found a great and very appropriate name for your lovely quilt! I am waiting for the book….smile

I love your quilts. This one is gorgeous. I would call it "Boxed Surprises", because there is a surprise in each box.
Love it! Reminds me of windows on the world.
