3D Pinwheels

May 6, 2011 17 Comments

Fun! Fun! Fun!

I need only 8 blocks for my project but I dream of a quilt for a girl.

Happy Weekend!
And “THANK YOU” for your nice comments about Alex’s quilt.
I am glad you like it.

Oh my gosh!!!!!!! That is exactly what I wanted to do with the same color scheme when I was thumbing through the latest Hancock's of Paducah catalog. So gorgeous in real life, just as I imagined. Geta, would it annoy you if I went ahead and worked some up, too, in the same color scheme? I bet our overall layouts will be different. ;D (Plus, mine won't happen for quite a while.)
Seriously, though – if it bothers you, I will think of something different to do with the fabrics I'm looking at.

I have a couple of different books on fabric folding. I love the 3D effect in a quilt. Did you make up the pattern or find it somewhere? They are lovely and stunning.

These are really adorable Greta. Can you point me in the right direction for some 'easy' instructions please? I enjoy your blog so much and would love to work on something I found through you.
    You're very talented.
