Basting a quilt sandwich
How do you baste your quilts ? When I started quilting, I basted some quilts with thread. I did not like it at all. Now, after many hand pieced hexagons, I don't think this is such a terrible thing to do. Then I tried safety pins - huge holes appeared in the fabric - unsightly! I just couldn't use them. Fabric Prettiness
It's so easy to shop fabric for bags. And much cheaper than fabric for quilts! All I need is two fabrics, usually a total of 1.5 yards. Ikea Fabric
Do you buy Ikea fabric ? Here is the latest addition to my stash. A medium weight cotton. I thought to use them for the back of some decorative pillows I want to sew.
